The official soundtrack to Soul Music, Cosgrove Hall's animated adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel, produced for Channel 4. Composed and produced by Keith Hopwood and Phil Bush and released on Hopwood's own Pluto label, the score runs to fifteen tracks, from the Discworld Main Title Theme through to The Messenger.

True to the novel's own conceit — rock and roll discovering the Disc — the songs track the fictional "Band with Rocks In" through a tour of real rock history rather than sticking to one sound. As the band moves from city to city the music shifts with them: 1950s rock and roll and early-'60s beat in Ankh-Morpork, acid rock in Scrote, spiritual hippie rock in Quirm, a Hendrix/Bad Company-style sound (with the Beatles' look to match) in Sto Lat, and a Blues Brothers-tinged horn sound in Pseudopolis, with a rival band standing in for the Sex Pistols. Listeners and reviewers have pointed to Chuck Berry, the Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimi Hendrix as the touchstones (no pun intended — "The Touchstone" is also one of the standout tracks).
